A Woman Always; A Mother By Accident. These are my Misadventures.
I did say that I would write something witty & informative here soon. I lied. This shall have to do:
I'm a 22 year old Mum of two. The first came when I was but the tender age of 18 & so did not know what I was letting my naive teenage self in for. Exactly one month before my 19th birthday I gave birth to Eldest, who currently takes the form of a monstrously cute nearly-four year old. The second came in my 22nd year & I still though I am now a little less naive I still had no clue just how life would change with two. The day after the Man's 27th birthday I gave birth to an extremely hungry, noisy, red haired beauty.
My recent pregnancy & all that comes after has been strewn with magical days as well as horrendous ones as I have struggled with depression & anxiety.
Finding acceptance & a strong voice for those dealing with mental illnesses is something I feel passionately about & therefore is something I blog about - a lot.
As well as Mummy issues & mental health you'll also find me blogging about crafty things; foody things; sexy things; un-sexy things; lady things; musicy things & whatever else may take my fancy. I like to think I have a sense of humour about life (despite being a miserable bugger occassionally) & sometimes I even have an opinion too. Very occassionally you might catch me using my brain. Keep your eyes peeled.
I should also say that I really love hearing from you (unless you're trying to sell me something I don't want or tell me something I don't want to hear). I really mean it, I'm not just saying it! Really, I do! So please read, comment, tweet (@OurPeaGreenPod), email & just generally get involved.
Thank you for reading & I hope you all enjoy!
